Hello
Welcome to our online portfolio! We have five design classifications to scroll through for decorating and gift ideas: Interior Room Designs, Mountain Home, Art For Sale, Kids Rooms, and Collage Portraits.
Burnt Toast Studios began as two former college roomies who would meet in our kitchens and dream up crazy art projects to keep our creative spirits lifted. Today, we design, decorate and paint rooms for clients in and around West Chester and Hershey PA. However, we still meet a few times a year to make things just for us.
For interior designs, painting projects or customized art, call Jenny Bash at 610-329-5287 or email us at www.burnttoaststudios@comcast.net.

Odd Sloped Roof Transformed!

It's not easy to know how to paint a sloped roof but if you can determine what you want to achieve, you can find a solution. We wanted the room to appear larger but more importantly we didn't want to feel like we were going to hit our heads on the low ceiling upon entry! The answer was to paint the ceiling the same shade as the wall to open up the room more and fool the eye. A flower-covered lace border was painted on the wall. Green paint was added below the lace to coordinate with the bedding fabrics and to ground the room. Well chosen accessories (chandelier and ribbon board),and painted furniture added to its shabby chic charm. To serve as a focal point since there was no headboard, we painted an initial medallion in shades of pink over the bed.
